I grew up in the Deep South, where music was just part of everyday life. Before I was old enough for school, I remember jukeboxes humming in small local bars, playing worn-in country songs that never seemed to get old. Weekends often meant front-porch jam sessions—neighbors and local musicians trading songs late into the night, keeping bluegrass, blues, and Southern gospel alive the way they always had. Those sounds stayed with me. TODAY; I write and play music shaped by that upbringing—rooted in Southern TRADITION BUT carried forward in my own voice.
